Terror probe: Kochi school got funds from Kashmir

Kochi: A school in Kochi is now the focus of the probe into the missing youths from Kerala who are supposed to have left for the Mideast to join terror outfit ISIS, Manorama News reported.

One of the missing women, Merin, had worked in the school and there were allegations that people employed in the school were part of the terror recruitment ring. Merin later converted to Islam before disappearing with the 21 other youths.

Kerala cops, who had arrested two aides of preacher Zakir Naik from Mumbai in the case, are also probing the source of the funds to the school.

A particular transaction on August 17 from Srinagar in Kashmir is also being looked at.
