Saritha says she called CM's official residence 50 times

Saritha told the solar scam probe panel that she called ministers and MLAs of the ruling UDF government for favours.

Kochi: Solar-scam accused Saritha S. Nair, who has been unleashing allegations against the leaders of the UDF government, upped the ante on Friday claiming that she had called the official residence of Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy – Cliff House - 50 times.

Her advocate submitted documents connected with the telephonic conversations to the panel.

She also said that she had spoken to Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala over the phone 11 times while she held telephonic conversations with his personal assistant Pradosh 127 times.

She had contacted Chennithala for setting up of solar lights in his constituency and met him once, she deposed before the commission.

She also claimed that she has met A.P. Abdullakutty MLA thrice. Abdullakutty had recently said that he never met Saritha.

Earlier in the day, Saritha handed over 'evidence' to back her claims to the solar scam probe pabel.

The solar scam pertains to alleged duping of several persons to the tune of crores of rupees by Saritha and her accomplice Biju Radhakrishnan by offering solar panel solutions.
