Kochi: The Startup Village has introduced a new programme for faster product development called Startup Studio. The programme has been designed to help startup enterprises to also speed up the time taken to market their product.

According to Manu, the Head of the Startup Studio, the initiative was designed to complement the incubation services offered by Startup Village.

While the incubation programme is spread across a time duration of 1-5 years, the Startup Studio accelerator programme has been structured for a shorter period time, which is between three to six months.

The first initiative in this regards is a FinTech (that is Financial Technology) partnership with Federal Bank. This Studio will focus on innovations in financial services sector.

“The biggest piece that we are providing as a part of the first studio is access to Federal Bank APIs. This is the first time any bank in India is opening their API pool to third party. Bank would also be guiding the selected startups in product development and testing, thus saving them valuable time and also helping them get a foothold in the sector,” said Manu.
