Bovikkanam, Kasaragod: A BSNL engineer has been found hacked to death on the street. The suspect, a neighbour who had a land dispute with him, died jumping in front of a train near Kumbala station half an hour later.

A Sudhakaran, 60, was found hacked to death 100 meters from his house on Tuesday evening at around 6.15.

He was walking home after alighting from a bus. Half an hour later, his neighbour P Radhakrishnan, 51, was found dead near the railway station. He had jumped in front of a train that had just left the station.
