Pathanamthitta: The police have issued a public notice with a screen grab of the CCTV visuals, suspected to be that of the missing girl Jesna from Vechuchira, obtained from Mundakkayam in Kottayam district.
The Thiruvalla DySP issued the notice saying "these are images from CCTV visuals the police obtained from the area around Mundakkayam bus stand on 22-03-2018. The police are on the lookout for this girl who resembles Jesna. Anyone who identifies the girl may inform the police on phone – 9497990035."
Though some confirmed that the girl in the image wearing a veil on the head is Jesna, the girl's relatives denied it. There were claims that the image was that of Aleesha, a native of Vellanad. But the police had traced Aleesha and found it was not.
The police decided to go public with the CCTV image from Mundakkayam with the hope that finding the girl in the visual will help crack the mystery behind missing Jesna.
