Collector Vasuki hospitalized in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram : Thiruvananthapuram district collector Dr K Vasuki was admitted to the Medical College Hospital for food poisoning on Tuesday. After primary examinations, hospital superintendent Dr M S Sharmad informed that the collector was fine. She is currently under observation.

In a separate incident, K C Venugopal, MP, was also hospitalised following food poisoning in Alappuzha. The MP was brought to Alappuzha Medical College Hospital Monday night after feeling uneasiness while returning from New Delhi. He was later discharged.

He visited flood-affected areas in the district later.
