Two-day meet at Excelsior English School opened

Kottayam: Students should be aware of global issues and fit enough to express their dissent against any form of global disharmony, Mariam Mammen Mathew, CEO, Manorama Online, has said.

She was speaking after inaugurating the EMUN 2K19 at Excelsior English School here on Friday.

She highlighted to assure the authenticity of the content in the digital media and importance of teamwork and mutual respect.

The introductory remarks were given by principal Shirin Chandy.

Secretary correspondent Rosey Mathew and EMUN chief advisor Harishankar Padmanabhan facilitated the two-day event.

Secretary General Khushal Jain declared EMUN 2K19 open.

EMUN 2K19 is a simulation UN conference with 6 different committees, each with a different agenda. More than 150 delegates from 15 different schools across Kerala attended the event.

K Sanjay Kumar Gurudin, IPS (Trivandrum Range), will be the chief guest at the valedictory function to be held at 5.30 pm on Saturday.
