Three Keralites die of COVID-19 in UAE, Saudi

Dubai: Three more Keralites succumbed to COVID-19 in the United Arab Emirates in the past 24 hours. Almost 50 expats in various parts of the world have lost their lives to the disease so far.

Abdul Hameed, 47, hailing from Thrithala in Palakkad district of Kerala was a businessman in Dubai. He was undergoing treatment for the coronavirus at a hospital here.

Kannur native Palakkal Abdu Rahman, 55, also lost his life to the COVID-19 in Dubai on Sunday. He was a manager at a hotel in Karama, Dubai and was undergoing treatment for the disease.

Alappuzha native Habiz Khan, 55, succumbed to the illness in Saudi Arabia. He had been working as a driver in the country for the past 20 years. With this the number of COVID related Keralite deaths in the country rose to three.
