Five more Keralites died of the COVID-19 outside Kerala in the past two days. While four Keralites succumbed to the disease in the Gulf region, one died in Chennai.

A Malayalam actor and businessman died of COVID-19 in Dubai on Monday. Shankarankuzhi SA Hassan, 51, was involved in a business project in Dubai for the past one year. He has produced and acted in the movie 'Dubaikaran'.

Kozhikode native Moidu Haji, 68, died in Qatar on Sunday. Five Malayalis have died of the COVID-19 in Qatar so far.

Thiruvalla native P Varghese (Shaji), 62 succumbed the virus in Dubai, UAE and Thiruvananthapuram native K Sudhakaran, 60, passed away in Muscat on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Thrissur native Rappayi, 89, died of COVID-19 in Chennai. He was under treatment for kidney related illnesses.
