The southern districts of Kerala have been put on a high alert after the authorities issued a cyclone warning for Lakshadweep. The cyclone, Ockhi, with a speed of 75 km/hour is currently between Kanyakumari and Thiruvananthapuram.
The unprecedented weather condition along the western coast has triggered heavy rain and strong winds in the southern districts, especially Thiruvananthapuram and Idukki.
