Kanjirappally: A three-year-old kid who ran scared on seeing a police team, which arrived in the neighbourhood to investigate a case, remained inconsolable until the police themselves pacified and comforted him the next day.
The incident occurred in Cheruvally, in Kottayam district in Kerala, when a police team led by SI Arun Thomas arrived in the place to probe a case. Devajith, the younger son of Anil Kumar and Nayana, got frightened and ran away on seeing the police and kept crying all night out of fear.
When Anil informed the police about the situation, the SI asked him to bring the kid to the police station.
The cops at the station then pampered the boy by befriending him and giving him chocolates. The child's fear was gone after he spent an hour in a playful mood there.
The image of SI Arun Thomas with the kid on his lap in the office has since gone viral on social media.
