Entries have been invited for the sixth edition of the Rain International Nature Film Festival (RINFF), which is slated to be held in the first week of December. The festival will consider feature, short films and documentaries by college and school students from across the globe. The entries have been regulated to 20 minutes.

All the entries should be submitted before November 20 and registration should be made through the festival's official website. The festival's highest honour Prakriti Puraskaram, consists of an image of golden elephant and a cash prize of Rs 25000. The winners in the college-level category will be honoured with the Silver Elephant, while the Golden Hornbill will be awarded to the winning documentary and a Silver Hornbill to the winning short film in the school-level competition. The Golden Owl for documentary and Silver Owl for short film are the awards in the general category.

The movies will be available for general viewing at Aishwarya auditorium, Kattappana. RINFF, which celebrates rain, nature and the verdant green heritage of Kerala is organised by Birds Club International, founded by ace filmmaker Jayaraj in association with Mahathma Gandhi University, National Service Scheme and the Rotary Club of Kattappana Heritage.
