Have you done your part to save the planet from the most drastic environmental changes? This World Environment Day, Onmanorama invites school students aged between 13 and 17 to be part of a brand new initiative called – Planeteer Alert.
Planeteeer Alert is an online design contest held in association with Bengaluru-based education startup Curricooler. The theme this year is an 'eco-friendly house.' Participants of the contest are expected to make a sample of an item or even a miniature working module of a technique that could be employed in their homes. Thereby, making their home a place that is environment friendly.
Here is a small hint: Think of ideas that could save electricity, prevent water wastage, chopping of too many trees, lesser pollution etc.
Now, this is the interesting part. You ideas will have to be presented in the form of a short video of 1:30 minutes or a set of 10 photographs labelled in a sequential manner (No, the photographs do not have to be presented in the form of a powerpoint presentation).
The person with the best idea (s) wins. So think of the method that would help you present your ideas best!
