Pathanamthitta: All educational institutions under the Higher Education Department will have a holiday on October 17 also as part of the Mahanavami celebrations, the principal secretary of Higher Education announced on Monday. Another day has to be declared as a working day in lieu of this holiday.
Exams postponed
Kerala University has postponed all exams scheduled on October 17
Kannur University also has put off all exams on October 17. New date will be announced later, said the university authorities
Calicut University has rescheduled the MEd second semester (admission from 2015) regular/ supplementary exams which were to be held on October 16, MEd fourth semester (admission from 2015) regular exam scheduled on October 17 and LLM (2015 scheme -2016 admission) exam under the university department scheduled on October 17. New dates will be announced later. There will be no change in the exam centre or time. There won't be any change in the other exams of Calicut University.
The Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University also informed that all exams scheduled for October 17 have been postponed. New dates will be announced later.
