Dindigul: Four Keralites, including a child, were killed in an accident near here in the southwest part of Tamil Nadu on Thursday.

The victims have been identified as Raseena (39), her son Fasal (21), daughter Sahana (7) - natives of Perashannoor in Palakkad district - and Hilar (47), a resident of Kuttipuram in neighbouring Malappuram district.

According to television reports, seven others sustained injuries in the accident that occurred at Vadipetti. Another vehicle reportedly rammed the pilgrim's car.

They were travelling from Kuttipuram to Ervadi, a famous pilgrim destination for Muslims, in Ramanathapuram district on the Bay of Bengal coast.
