Wayanad: Two minor girls surrendered at the Ambalavayal Police Station here claiming they murdered and dismembered a man who harassed their mother.
The mother of the girls has also been taken into custody. The trio is being questioned in the connection with the death of 68-year-old Muhammad, reported Manorama News.
According to reports, Muhammad used to harass the girls' mother frequently. On Tuesday, they reportedly quaralled with the person and attacked him using an axe, resulting in his death.
The body was later dismembered, stuffed into a sack and thrown into an unused well in the neighbourhood. Later, the girls surrendered at the police station. The police have reportedly recovered the body.
