Murder of OBC Morcha leader: Main conspirators, who represent SDPI, arrested

OBC Morcha leader Ranjeet Sreenivas was murdered in Alappuzha on December 19.

Alappuzha: The main conspirators in the murder of OBC Morcha leader Ranjeet Sreenivas have been arrested.

Mannancherry native Poovathil Shaji and Ponnad native Nahas, both activists of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), are alleged of hacking the conspiracy that resulted in the murder on December 19.

Shaji is SDPI's vice president of the Alappuzha constituency. So far 18 persons have been arrested in connection with the murder.

Ranjeet was hacked to death in front of his family within 12 hours of the murder of SDPI state secretary KS Shan at Mannacherry here.
