Thiruvananthapuram youths held for hurling petrol bombs at police station

Thiruvananthapuram: Two youngsters were arrested for hurling petrol bombs at a police station at Aryancode here.

Ananthu, 19 and Nithin, 20 were were taken into custody for their attack on the Aryancode station on Tuesday morning.

The accused said that they had attacked to avenge a police investigation into an assault case in which Ananthu is the first accused.

The other day, the police had inspected the houses of the accused as part of an investigation into a campus attack case, in which a student sustained stab injuries on his hand.

Both bombs did not explode though one of it had hit the ground near the station.
