Former Kerala minister and Congress leader K.P. NooruddinKozhikode: Former Kerala minister and Congress leader K.P. Nooruddin passed away at MIMS hospital here on Sunday. He breathed his last at 9.10 pm. He was 77.
Noorudheen had sustained severe head injury after he fell down after feeling giddiness. He was rushed to Koyili hospital in Kannur and later to MIMS.
A member of Congress working committee Noorudheen was a five-time MLA from Peravoor.
The body will be kept at Mahatma Mandir in Kannur at 7.30 am on Monday and at Gandhi Park in Payyannur at 12 noon for the public to pay homage.
The funeral will be held at 4 pm at Hydros mosque in Puthiyangadi.
