Kochi: Ezhuthachan award winner C. Radhakrishnan and actor Nivin Pauly have offered full support to Manorama News' Kerala Can campaign, aimed at creating awareness about cancer.
In the first function he attended after being chosen for the prestigious Ezhuthachan award, Radhakrishnan launched the social media campaign of Kerala Can on Wednesday. The campaign is supported by Eram Group and Malabar Cancer Centre.
He changed the cover page of Manorama News' Facebook page at the venue. Referring to the campaign, the renowned writer said he was seeing flames of love in front of him and said that empathy was needed for good health. The function was organized at Aster hospital.
In a noble gesture, Nivin Pauly also replaced the cover page of his Facebook page with Kerala Can's logo and gave his support to the campaign. He also announced his full support for Manorama News' social campaign program and sought help from all people.
On the occasion of 60th anniversary of Kerala formation day, 101 tree saplings were planted on the premises of MM Office.
