Kottayam: Train services south of Ernakulam will be disrupted on Saturday due to the work on doubling of track between Piravom Road and Kuruppanthara on the Kottyam route and the commissioning of completed tracks.
Six passenger trains have been canceled and eight express trains diverted via Alappuzha.

Ernakulam Junction-Kollam (66307 - departure at 5:25 am)
Kollam-Ernakulam Junction (66308 - 11:10 am)
Kollam-Ernakulam Junction via Alappuzha (66302 - 8:50 am)
Ernakulam Junction Kollam (66301 - 2:40 pm)

The Guruvayur-Punalur Passenger (56365) and Punalur-Guruvayur passenger (56366) trains will run only between Guruvayur and Edappally.

Southern Railway's new train timetable comes into effect from October 1 (Saturday) and following which, some of the train timings have changed.
