Kochi: The young bike riders here who forgot to take helmet when they left home must have remembered their school days Wednesday.
The motor vehicles department officials here wanted to teach the offenders a lesson to ensure that they would never forget helmets again. The youths, mostly students, were made to write a pledge 100 times that they 'will not ride two-wheeler without helmet again'.
The MVD sleuths cracked the whip on over 50 students for violation of traffic rules during an inspection on Panampilly Nagar road in the city.
