Kottayam: The physiotherapy student who was killed by her lovelorn senior has topped her class in exams held at the end of the third year of the course.

K. Lekshmi, 21, a final year student at the School of Medical Education at Gandhinagar in Kottayam, was set on fire on February 1 by a former student of the institution after she refused to reciprocated his advances. Both of them died of burns.
