Koothuparamba (Kannur): The police Sunday recovered lethal weapons from the house of a BJP worker who was killed in bomb explosion here Saturday. Swords, knives and axes were recovered from the house of Dikshith, son of Pradeep of Ponnambath at Olakkavil near Kottayam Poyyil, who died in the mishap. A police team led by the DySP conducted a search in Kottayam Poyyil Sunday.
Meanwhile, the CPM has alleged that the bombs were being made as per the instructions of BJP leaders in Payyannur.
Dikshith was alone in the house when the mishap took place. The police assume that the explosion must have caused by reckless handling of the explosives.
