Kalabhavan Mani's life is a learning lesson for many people including political leaders, according to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
The chief minister was speaking at a function organized by Chalakudy municipality to mark the first death anniversary of the actor.
''Many accolades came in Mani's way but that didn't bother him. His growth was beyond such awards. He was not just a great artiste but a great human being as well. Mani reached out to people. Mani was different from other actors who get success and fame,” said Pinarayi.
Meanwhile, Kalabhavan Mani's brother R L V Ramakrishnan continued the three-day fast he began on Saturday seeking a probe by a central agency into the actor’s death.
