Kochi: The Kerala police have busted a sex racket that was operating at a lodge at Kammattippadam here. The police on Sunday arrested four persons, including a 20-year-old Kolkata native woman, from the lodge.
The arrested have been identified as Johny Joseph (42) of Ananthuruthil, Ponnurunni; lodge owner Reji Mathew (32) of Kizhakketheruv, Kottarakkara, and lodge staffer Maneesh Lal (27) of Mainagappalli in Kollam.
John Joseph, the kingpin of the racket, brought the woman from Bengaluru where she was trapped by a sex racket. Joseph used to find clients after getting acquaintance with them online.
The gang was arrested by Kadavanthra police following a tip-off.
