JNU rape incident: story in 5 points

    1. All India Student's Association activist has been accused of raping a 28-year-old JNU student in a hostel room on the university campus.


    2. The accused, identified as Anmol Ratan, was expelled from the primary membership of AISA, a left wing student organization.


    3. The incident happened in Anmol's hostel room after he picked her up Saturday on the pretext of giving her a CD of the film she wanted.


    4. According to the complaint filed by her, he offered her a spiked drink and allegedly raped her.


    5. He also threatened her and asked her not to report the matter.
