Janeesh Kumar poised to wrest Konni from UDF

Janeesh is a novice in electoral politics. Political pundits did not give him a  chance for victory. Many expected that the ire of the Hindu Nair community against the ruling LDF government would work against him. Internal squabbling also appears to have dented the UDF chances.
