A day after he was dropped from the Indian Twenty20 team, M S Dhoni had a field day behind the stumps during the third One-Day International against the West Indies in Pune on Saturday.

The 37-year-old came up with a stunning diving catch to cut short West Indian opener Chandrapaul Hemraj's stay. The left-hander was on 15 when he attempted a hook off a Jasprit Bumrah bouncer. Dhoni sprinted towards the backward square leg boundary and snapped up the catch with a full length dive much to the delight of his teammates and the spectators.

Dhoni pouched a low catch to dismiss Marlon Samuels and then effected a vital stumping to remove the dangerous Shimron Hetmyer. The 56-run stand between Shai Hope and  Hitmayer (37) was broken when the latter fell to Kuldeep Yadav, thanks to an alert Dhoni.

The fans were quick to praise Dhoni's fine show and took to the social media to share their joy.
