Kottayam: Kerala won three points on the basis of gaining the first innings lead against Hyderabad as their Ranji Trophy Group C match ended in a draw in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
Hyderabad, who were asked to follow on after conceding a first innings lead of 236 runs, rode on an unbeaten century by B. Anirudh to reach 220/3 in their second essay, when the match was called off.

Earlier, resuming on 231/7, Hyderabad were bowled out for 281 in their first innings. Mehdi Hassan top-scored with 58, while medium-pacer Sandeep Warrier and left-arm spinner K. S. Monish claimed three wickets apiece for Kerala.
Kerala have six points from three games and are in eighth place in the 10-team Group C.
Kerala next meet Chhattisgrah in Ranchi from Thursday.
