The Lower Secondary Scholarship (LSS) and Upper Secondary Scholarship (USS) examinations which are conducted for class 4 and 7 students in Kerala will be held on December 18, the Education Department announced.
The candidates who belong to minority communities and whose annual family income do not exceed Rs 2 lakh can apply for this scholarship.
The scholarship is funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and its recipients are selected by British Embassies and High Commissions throughout the world.
The annual family incomes should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh. Applications must be submitted at the schools before September 30
As per the latest decision, Muslim students would get up to 59.05% while Christian communities would get 40.87% of the scholarship
A single candidate would receive up to Rs 1.1 crore as scholarship for 5 years. This would amount to Rs 1.4 lakh per month and an annual allowance of Rs 7 lakh as research grant.
The courses include Robotic Process Automation, Data Science and Analytics, Full Stack Development, Security Analyst, Software Testing and Digital Marketing
Students of forward caste groups whose family’s annual income doesn’t exceed Rs 1 lakh can submit applications for the Ambedkar Post Metric Scholarships for admissions to various courses in government institutions
Chevening Scholarship allow international students who are graduates and have a work experience of at least two years to pursue Master’s degree in the UK, totally free of cost.
Applications for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) fellowship should be submitted within August 25.
