The global spread of COVID-19 has forced most celebrities, including film stars, to seek the safety of their homes. Even though confined indoors, many of these well-known personalities share throwback photos and videos of their old travels. For instance, Bollywood actress Ileana D'Cruz has taken a trip down the memory lane by posting on Instagram videos of a trip to Fiji.

In her post, Ileana says she is hopeful about visiting Fiji again next year. One video shows the star engaged in surfboard rowing with the caption, “Me running away from my responsibilities.” Ileana is a regular on Instagram, sharing pictures of her travels with fans.

The actress says she has shared visuals of the Fiji trip, which was her last journey before the travel restrictions came into effect, to give joy to fans who are unable to visit places due to the pandemic.

Ileana, who has 12.8 million followers on Instagram, has also shared images of her snorkelling trip in Fiji earlier this year.

Since 2017, Ileana has been the Fiji Tourism Board’s Indian Brand Ambassador and partners with several tourism-promotion activities. The celebrity has also visited schools in Fiji along with that country’s minister for tourism and minerals Faiyaz Koya.
