Mumbai is often called the kulfi capital as the city is known for serving hundreds of varieties and flavours of kulfi. However, kulfi lovers can now enjoy the real taste of the delicious dessert in Kerala as well. The recently opened 'Bombay Kulfi' at Kathrikadavu in Kochi, serves more than thirty varieties of frozen kulfi.

Kulfi, in simple words, could be described as a frozen dessert made using milk. However, it's incredible taste sure cannot be explained in just a few words. The amazingly soft and creamy kulfi melts as soon as it touches your mouth. The Bombay Kulfi outlet opened at Kochi is part of a well known food chain based in Coimbatore. There are more than 50 outlets of Bombay Kulfi around the country. Besides Kochi, it has outlets in Kozhikode, Thrissur, and Malappuram as well.

Their iconic mango kulfi is amazingly popular and kulfi lovers throng the outlets just to taste this delicious flavour. The mango kulfi available at Bombay Kulfi has the real, juicy flavour of the pulpy Alfonso mangoes. Guava kulfi which has a hint of salt and chilli is a speciality here. However, this flavour is not served in all the seasons. The Calcutta pan kulfi is for those who are eager to try out unique flavours. The light green hued pan kulfi too has many takers. The tender coconut kulfi, with its delicious flavour and freshness, has conquered the hearts of the kulfi lovers in Kerala.

The Bombay Kulfi outlet in Kochi is run by Jijo George Madonna. Jijo says that lots of people, including celebrities, come in to taste the freshness of the frozen dessert. Bombay Kulfi has now turned into one of the favourite hangout spots of the people of Kochi.
