Your trip to Vagamon is incomplete without these detours

Vagamon. Does the name remind you of tall grass and barren hills with the clouds playing hide and seek? Of tall pine forest that adds to the visual allure? Of the three hills which stand sentinel? These are however the landmarks of the place.

But, if you are ready to explore, there are a couple of places just outside the sleepy town that will transport you to a different time and space. Take a look at this video.

Uluppuni is about 10 km from Vagamon. If off-road trips are your cup of tea, this is a mandatory getaway.

From Uluppuni to Shaktimali is a trip through the forest. And if you keep your eyes tuned, you will see elephants and mountain squirrel just beyond yonder.

The final lap will take you to Kappakanam. And then back to Vagamon. So, do check out these places the next time you travel to Vagamon.
