Idukki's Kottapara view point beckons tourists to enjoy misty mornings

Thodupuzha: Tourists are flowing to Kottapara in Vannapuram panchayat of Kerala's Idukki district to enjoy the blankets of mist and lush greenery that surround the hillocks.

Hundreds of visitors visited the spot during the holiday season.

The vast swathes of dreamy mist, chilly weather and cold breeze entice tourists to the viewpoint.

The view of the sun rise and sun set from Kottapara is also a scintillating sight.

Kottapuram is three kilometers away from Vannapuram in the Mullaringad route. Meanwhile, a 150 meter hike from near the Kurisupally would take you to the view point.

However, tourists often complain about the sharp slope and curvy turns of the narrow road from Vannapuram to Kottapara.
