All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware of. One such journey towards Jaipur from the national capital of Delhi resulted in the discovery of this little gem of a place.

Doused in the beautiful royal architecture, drenched in the flavor of the region and basking in the glory of the erstwhile era, this place built with locally-found sandstone and lime lies on the foothills of the scenic Aravalli hills. This place, blessed with greenery, is a delight when the rain drops come touching the otherwise dry land of Jaipur.

Back to the basics

The resort is built in a way, it should have been. Right from the land, labor, machinery, constituents, and elements, everything comes locally.  Kukas, is just a 30-minute drive from the main city of Jaipur. The resort employs locals. Not just that, it ensures that while the adults are busy taking care of the resort and earning a livelihood, the next generation’s education is taken care of by the resort authorities. This ensures that the villagers are part of the modern developments, proud of their culture and are in sync with the society.

Luxury redefined

But if you wish to experience real luxury and pampering, it has to be personalized menu every day, organic ingredients from the kitchen garden, local cuisine for experimenting, yet not far away from comfort food, private spa in your private garden overlooking the mountains and a romantic evening by your poolside. Acres of lush-green area complete with rare birds call for a nice evening walk. You don’t have to step out of the resort for any of this. What more, you can also avail baby-sitting services.
