Great time to visit

The waterfall is active only during the monsoon season. Therefore, the months of June to November are the best time to visit Aruvikuzhy waterfalls. The stream and the waterfall are completely dry in summer.

How to reach

The destination is easily accessible from Kottayam and Kumarakom. Aruvikuzhy waterfalls is around 33 km from Kumarakom. The waterfall is located at a distance of 19 km from Kottayam, 2 km from Pallickathod and 7.5 km from Pampady. The main road and bus stop are a few meters away from the falls.

Tourists can visit Aruvikuzhy falls at any time from 6 am to 10 pm. The entrance fee is only ten rupees. The nearest town is Pallickathod, only 2 km away. As the stream is situated between Thekkady and Kumarakom, passers-by will have the opportunity to visit this waterfalls. 

Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls is ideal for those who come with children as the place is relatively shallow.
