The Adani Group, helmed by Gautam Adani, has launched a project in association with US' Mayo Clinic.
It will establish two 1000-bed hospitals and medical colleges.
The project will be launched first in Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
Each hospital campus will have at least 150 undergrad students, over 80 residents and 40 fellows.
The campuses will also have research centres, transitional care facilities and affordable healthcare, according to Adani.
