In response to web developer Priyanshu Sol's recent viral post on working hard at 4 am, US tech entrepreneur and anti-ageing advocate Bryan Johnson gave a set of warnings via X
Pointing to the photo where the developer is working with his device on his lap, Johnson commented, “That posture cuts brain oxygen by 30%.”
Research indicates that prolonged sitting can decrease blood flow to the brain, and consequently, oxygen and nutrient delivery.
Johnson also said, 'The blue light suppresses melatonin, fragments deep sleep, and blunts next-day insulin sensitivity.'
Harvard Health has also said that blue light contributes to the causation of cancer, diabetes, heart disease and obesity.'
According to Bryan, the missed sleep raises cortisol, increases visceral fat and decays memory.
While hard work is essential, think whether it's worth it at the cost of your health.
