The Ram Janmabhoomi Temple

Devotees believe that the temple is located at the birthplace of Rama. The three-storied temple, spread across 2.7 acres is built with Rajasthani pink sandstone. If you are a traveller interested in mythological stories, history, and politics, the temple can be of interest to you.

Ram ki Paidi

A group of ghats (flight of steps leading to water) along the Sarayu River in Ayodhya, it is a spot frequented by those seeking relaxation. They recently got a facelift too adding new shops, bridges, and eateries.

Tulsi Udyan

A garden set up in the name of the saint-poet Tulsi Das, it is situated near the Ayodhya Bus Stand. It has a statue of Tulsi Das under a well-carved canopy in the garden. Its serene ambiance is loved by local people and tourists alike.

Hanumangarhi

A hilltop temple with a 76-stair pathway, the shrine gives a lovely view of Ayodhya's surrounding hills. The temple has a 6-inch-tall idol of Hanuman and some intricate carvings in its interior chambers.
