Yet another Neelakurinji blooming season has arrived in Kerala, and this time, it's in Idukki's Chokramudi.
The flower, which blooms once in 12 years, is legally protected under Schedule III of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
Tourists can enter Kurinji Garden from 7 am to 4 pm. A special entrance has been set up near Munnar's Gap Road for visitors.
Entry fees: 10-18 years - ₹100; People above 18 - ₹200; Foreigners - ₹400; Photocamera - ₹50; Videos - ₹100
Damaging neelakurinji will invite a ₹25,000 fine and up to three years' imprisonment.
