These ayurveda herbs can easily beat the heat

Ayurveda prescribes using a few herbs for effectively fighting the health issues that come with the harsh summer sun. Making these herbs part of your diet or lifestyle would ensure health and well-being, according to Ayurveda practitioners. However, make sure that you are not allergic to any of them, before including them in your diet.
Tulsi (Holy Basil)
It is a medicinal herb that is grown in most houses. They can effectively fight cough, cold, fever, infections as well as the summer heat. Tulsi leaves have cleansing properties that expel toxins from our bodies. Besides, chewing two or three tulsi leaves daily would enable the body to fight heat. You could also eat ice creams by adding a few tulsi leaves to cool down the body.

Mint
Including mint leaves in your daily diet would refresh your body and mind, especially during the summer season. Mint leaves that are loaded with nutrients would improve digestion and ensure gut health. Mint chutney is a tasty dish that could be enjoyed as a side dish. Besides, fresh mint leaves could be added to lemonade and mocktails.
Aloe vera
Aloe vera is known for its incredible medicinal benefits. They are excellent for keeping away skin diseases. Besides, aloe vera juice improves digestion and detoxifies the body while making the body cool during summer.

Coriander leaves
A storehouse of antioxidants, coriander leaves keep away digestive problems and keep the body cool. You could sprinkle coriander leaves in curries or enjoy a flavoursome coriander chutney.
Ginger
Ginger is an excellent remedy for indigestion, gas and bloating. Severe heat during the summer could lead to inflammation. As ginger has anti-inflammatory properties, it should be included in your daily diet. Besides, ginger can boost immunity too.
