This time it's Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone who had to face the wrath of wardrobe vigilantes.
Deepika drew flak for wearing an ensemble that, according to the fashion police, transgressed the line of morality of an 'Indian girl'. She posted a picture of herself in a white crop top and a pair of short shorts on Instagram. Her outfit was dubbed as vulgar, cheap, and a deluge of similar adjectives followed in the trolls.
The images were from the photoshoot of an international magazine. But that wouldn't spare the actress from the barrage of hateful comments. To her relief, however, there were comments defending the actress and questioning the trolls too.
The post garnered over 6 lakh likes and over 5,000 comments.
Few days ago, actress Priyanka Chopra had faced the wrath of decency mongers after she posted a picture of herself with prime minister Narendra Modi in Berlin. She was trolled for wearing an 'inappropriate' attire when she met the PM.
Actresses Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sunny Leone were also trolled for their outfits recently.
