Almost three years after his crime-drama Ivide, Shyamaprasad is back with Hey Jude with Nivin Pauly and Trisha in the lead.
The film is named after the Beatles' song of the same name and also marks Trisha's debut in Malayalam cinema.
The trailer of Hey Jude, offers glimpses of yet another romance- drama from the three time national award-winning filmmaker.
It was released by Nivin Pauly on Facebook, which gives us a peak into who Jude is and how he handles his relationships.
Nivin on his Facebook post says that, "One of the things I love about being an actor is playing someone who makes very different choices. Being Jude was challenging but at the same time fascinating. It is one among those characters I loved doing."
Siddique, Neena Kurup, Vijay Menon and Aju Varghese are also seen in the trailer giving a glance of their strong performances in the movie.
The film features songs composed by four different musicians, all of whom have individually worked on Shyamaprasad's previous films. Rahul Raj composed music for Ritu, Ouseppachan was the music director of Ore Kadal, M. Jayachandran composed for Akale and Gopi Sunder had worked in Ivide.
Hey Jude, captured in frames by Girish Gangadharan and edited by Karthik Jogesh, is bankrolled by Anilkumar under the banner Ambalakkara Global Films.
The makers are yet to announce a release date.
