Priya P Varrier who shot to fame on a wink in a video song has sent Valentine's Day wishes to all Onmanorama readers. The up and coming actress became an internet sensation overnight through the video song 'Manikya Malaraya Poovi' from director Omar Lulu's upcoming film Oru Adaar Love.
"I wish you a very happy Valentine's Day and also thank you for all the love and support that you have been giving me," she said in the video.
Roshan Abdul Rahoof, the boy in the video whose blushing reaction gave the required amplitude to Priya's wink gesture also sent his Valentine's Day wishes to Onmanorama readers.
“I am really happy and excited. In fact, we got the popularity that we never expected. Thank you for all your love and support,” he said.
The single frame in which Priya Varrier is seen winking at a boy, in a romantic ambiance lent by the song, at a school function, catapulted her to the third spot in the most-searched celebrities on Instagram.
The song, originally composed by Thalassery K Refeeque and written by PMA Jabbar, is remixed by Shaan Rahman. The song is beautifully rendered by Vineeth Sreenivasan.
