Film producer’s wife hits out against Kollywood heroines

When Neha’s tweets created uproar in the industry, many wondered whether she was talking about her husband Gnanvel’s extra-marital affairs.

Neha Gnanavel, wife of popular Tamil film producer Gnanavel Raja, kicked up a controversy in Kollywood as she lashed out against a few leading ladies in the industry. In a twitter rant, Neha claimed that a few heroines were homewreckers. As the controversy refused to die down, Neha has come up with further explanations on her allegations.

She tweeted, “My anger is towards those women who are shameful to the womenkind. I feel terrible to have given my husband this situation where fingers point at him…and the stories cooked up!!... I will definitely stand for what is right! I request not to give wrong and imaginary stories to people. It spoils the purpose and hurts many good souls. Yes I did say I would expose them! Only if they ever dared to spoil peace of my loved ones.. (sic)”

She said that those heroines whom she accused of creating trouble among married couples would only take this expose as another publicity to gain fame. Neha had called some heroines “desperate home-wreckers” and were “worse than sex workers”. While she said “no man is a child”, she believes that it was the women who keep stalking married men and ruin their families.

"A wife has the duty to control the man at home just as she has the duty to punish the women who dared it. I have a list of people whom I have politely warned, begged, requested and did my best to stop,” said Neha in one of her tweets.

When Neha’s tweets created uproar in the industry, many wondered whether she was talking about her husband Gnanvel’s extra-marital affairs. However, she was quick to delete her earlier tweets and added, “Well, some sensitive things are not for entertainment. My post was not about my domestic problem. Nor I have an issue with my husband. They mention my experiences with people around us.”
