Putting end to the controversy over underpayment and racism allegedly meted out to Nigerian actor Samuel Abiola Robinson by the makers of the blockbuster film 'Sudani from Nigeria,' the actor posted a lengthy note on the Facebook saying that the issue has been resolved.
Confirming the receipt of a reasonable sum as salary for his work in the film 'Sudani from Nigeria', the Nollywood actor said that he was contacted by the producers of the film and their explanation made him believe that there was no racial discrimination as he had claimed earlier.
The actor said it was a case of 'misunderstanding, miscommunication and misinformation...' and offered apologies to all who felt offended by his previous statements.
He specifically thanked Kerala finance minister Thomas Isaac for his support to resolve the issue.
"Before the controversy we were like family and in all families, there will be disagreements and miscommunication. This is normal and when resolved, it only strengthens the bond between family members," Samuel wrote in the post.
The actor also said he will be donating a part of the pay he had received to an anti-racism educational charity.
