A small-time actor has landed in hot water after the police released a new sketch of the prime suspect in the brutal rape-murder of Jisha, the law student from Perumbavoor.
Thaslik, who has acted in small roles in several Malayalam movies, works as a salesman at a shop in Paravoor. A photo of the young actor, which looks similar to the suspect's sketch, is doing rounds on social media.
While there has even been online debates on whether Thaslik is the real culprit, the actor wrote on his Facebook page that such discussions would destroy his career and requested people not to spread fake news.
