The happy trio is back, but it's a different set; if the Dulquer-Nazriya-Nivin combo opened a new chapter in the Malayalam cinema, let's see how the Arya-Sridivya-Simha combo works in Tamil.
The trailer of Bangalore Naatkal, the remake of the Malayalam film Bangalore Days is out, and it definitely rings many a bell.
Bangalore Days is about the lives of three cousins—their highs and lows, and how each is a part of the other's tumultuous times. The movie, written and directed by Anjali Menon, ran to packed halls with the audience heaping praises upon the cast.
The Tamil version of the story is directed by 'Bommarillu' Bhaskar. Gopi Sundar has repeated his score from Bangalore Days. By the looks of it, the director has neither meddled with the storyline, nor appropriated the events in the film. A remake that's a tad too faithful to the original? Too easy a formula, it seems. Let's wait and watch how Tamil audience take to the breezy youngsters.
