With his fourth 007 film Spectre to be out on 26 October, Daniel Craig says he has no intention of stepping down imminently, even though he says the role is ‘getting harder’.
Although the 47-year-old actor had earlier hinted that he was ready to quit the franchise after the upcoming movie, he has now said that he will make at least one more.
Talking to a magazine, the actor said: "It's getting harder. But such is life. I'll keep going as long as I'm physically able.
"I'm contracted for one more – but I’m not going to make predictions.
"These movies don't get made very often. It's just the fourth time for me, a spit in the ocean.”
Spectre is Craig’s fourth Bond film in nine years as 007, after being cast in 2006’s Casino Royale.
Daniel, who has done less stunt work on Spectre than previous movies, admitted that he still has to work hard to get in shape to play Bond.
